How to navigate this course and what to expect next
This course is designed to provide you with full coverage of topics on the mathematical knowledge section of the ASVAB.
Each section contains one or more lectures, grouped by topical area.
It is not necessary to complete the course in order, however, the topic areas are, based on our experience, listed such that harder topics are covered later.
The course is organized this way to get you "warm" on your basic math before working on more challenging topics like Factoring and Algebraic equations. However, if you're an ace at triangles, you can skip it, start first, Lectures contains the following:
Audio, visual, or text subject material covering the topical area for that section, including ways to approach the problem, ways to eliminate the wrong answers and time saving techniques
A quiz of varying length to test your knowledge about the topical area and material covered within. Each quiz is graded, with an 80% pass score.
Some lessons also contain a worksheet file for you to download and practice offline
Before the final exam, some additional tricks and tips will be provided. The final exam will cover material from the entire course.
*Disclaimer and last things before we start*:
This course and it's material have been designed through review of various military websites which provide the general content of the exam; the author's own experience with the exam and the author's review and discussion with students who have taken the exam. This means, however, that if the exam changes, the course material will also need to change. We regularly review the ASVAB guidance published by the various military branches to ensure our topics are in line with the expected exam.
Since the exam is not released to the public, practice problems must be made up through logic of the content. For example, one topic area is "shapes". There are dozens of shapes out there, but the most common are triangles, circles and rectangles. It's unlikely the exam would test about a decagon (which, by the way has ten sides...). However, the problems contained in this course will vary between the actual exam you receive
We cannot guarantee you any score, job in the military or any superpowers. This course will help you, but ultimately, it's the time you put in, your study habits and motivation that determines this
No military promotion, sponsorship or endorsement has been given
The more effort you put in, the better your success will be
